Had i not viewed your multiply site, i would not have been aware that there is such a place as this. Great concept, great execution! A fun, educational place for both media and non-media practitioners. Kudos to you and your team! Nakaka miss tuloy bumalik and maging part ng media.

The wagwagans still have those small cameras with floppy disks for film, at relic prices of course, as in ala antique rates. Whewww.

We got a digital plastic camera (which looked like a toy) for a high schooler kin; photos could be downloaded on computer through driver disks. At first it was at P1,200. A few days after, it was at P750. When they finally gave it a few more days after at P250, we grabbed it.

It was a nice gift, but also nice for your museum.

Yah! I saw a Sony Mavica that stores images in a floppy disc but they're selling it at P1500 and to me its not worth that anymore.

I can't stop smiling when I saw your nostalgic pieces. I remember the feel of my hands on some same equipment of my uncle in his old studio especially the Rollieflex and the photo enlarger...
artibaldo wrote on Oct 24, '07, edited on Oct 24, '07
I've been noticing the very clean digital images that are being posted in multiply and perhaps it will eventually be fun to post shots that are taken by rangefinders and developed in darkrooms. I hope wag magsara yung mga foto supplys dyan sa Hidalgo at Paco.

nice chinese seagull.
Thanks for dropping by Paul. I learned that the 35mm SLRs and 120mm TLRs of Seagull from Shanghai were short lived because of the high competition among camera makers which is still being dominated by Japan. I guess same is true with Ricoh in the 35mm category.

They are still working but sadly, Kodak stopped manufacturing 3 minuter 8mm reel films....no longer viable in the modern digital world hehe
